Summer Holiday Kids Fun Club Success

We were incredibly lucky with the weather for the first of our two Summer Holiday Kids Olympic Fun Clubs, and we were equally lucky with a great bunch of kids taking part.

We started with a little bit of art and crafts with the children making flags for the countries that they would be representing throughout the two days and then the children were split into four teams and chose their nations. We had team Mexico, team Australia, team GB and Team Canada.

Each team was awarded points at the end of every game according to their position with 10 points awarded for Gold, 5 points awarded for Silver and 2 points awarded for Bronze. During some of the games the teams were joined together and and so we had two nations battling together for points against their rival nations.

During our regular snack and drinks breaks the teams were given questions and picture quizzes in order to earn bonus points.

Cogratulations go to team Australia who led from the start and just managed to hold on to the gold medal position with a rounder from Adam in the last game.

After a small survey it was decided that everybody's favourite game was Dodgeball and that everybody was very tired but had great fun.

MISSION ACCCOMPLISHED!!
